The Saints surely are no longer the "aints" of the past. No grocery bags covering anybody's head in the practice camp. This team has serious potential with the coach back at the helm.

T.E. Luke Stocker believes he can catch up after having had 2 injuries in training camp during the last 3 years. Stocker, who was on the PUP list at the beginning of this year’s camp, threw himself into practice in a big way this week.
With a bona fide quarterback controversy raging in Jets’ camp, things are pretty much decided where the Bucs are concerned. Incumbent starter Josh Freeman is ready to take the reins.
With starting RT Mike Johnson out for the year due to a leg injury, QB Matt Ryan addressed the media today with concern. It is Ryan’s belief that the injury list compels some of the younger players to step in and make their mark.
With 10 years in prison for a crime he did not commit behind him, Brian Banks has overcome a lot of barriers to make it to the NFL. Training camp is a totally new experience for Banks, but he intends to make the most of it.
Steve Smith has played 12 years of professional ball and not ever becoming complacent is the key to his success. Smith says that when you become too content with where you are, you can’t look back because somebody may be gaining on you.
According to DT Dwan Edwards, you don’t want to be left on the sidelines for too many practices during camp. Edwards isn’t avers to getting a day off now and then, but he wants to be sure the team knows he’s one of the best on the field.
DE Kenyon Coleman and receiver Joe Morgan are likely both out for the year due to injuries sustained in camp. Coach Sean Peyton says both will be missed, but they are scheduled for surgery soon.
There is no identity crisis for Courtney Roby because he knows his role and is very satisfied with it. Roby has been a Saint for 4 seasons and year in and year out seems to always find his name on the final season roster.
